K-4 HPT report
• Developed a scope and sequence format for Language Arts.
• Finished draft of the scope and sequence for Reading.
• Began work on the scope and sequences for Writing, Speaking and Listening
• Discussed creating a master high frequency spelling list and finding a common spelling program for the lower grades.

"Quick" HPT report:

We spent the last two weeks dissecting the 5-8 writing standards and breaking it down into the essential learnings. The next hurdle will be for us to do the same thing with the reading standards. Our only question is about format, but we know that will be discussed in our next large meeting.

High School has been reviewing and fixing the old scope and sequence and also discussing format. We have also begun the discussion about the five-year plan that is due in December. Surprise!
